Looks pretty cool, the graphics while I know their are 8 Bit and I like 8 Bit, they really do not look so great. You should really change the Gui becasue it does not suit your game at all.
This should be good sumthin new and some cool features too interesting to see how this will turn out
I wouldnt play it, it doesnt attract me at all

Even if you have an amazing GUI, but the game itself isn't attractive, it wouldn't make the game suddenly beautiful :|
well people, I'm not worried about the graphics right now, more on game play. the graphics you see above, are simply test graphics, I am working on recreating everything...
Graphics arent always important theres games out there using stick men
1st off : This is actually a good attempt at something new, but there is already a MS game out that is actually based on old school atari format gaming, won't give the name though.
2nd off: somethings in the current gui are not 8 bit like.. if your going to make a game called 8 bit then your going to have to make a NES capable looking game, you can look at youtube and actually see some nes 8bit rom projects people have made.. like final fantasy 10 and chrono Trigger. so look around there and get some tips on the style of mapping they are using.. but if you wanna make a goooood 8 bit game then go with the best mapping and style of graphics that dragon quest (warrior) used it when it came out, that was a hella of good game, so try to come up with something in that style
3rd off: The Pac Man People have to go, that is just scary.. they look like they are all pissed off and going to eat each other.
4th, if your doing music I would also suggest old school midi's style like they used on nes, nothing from the snes days and not as good sounding as snes days..
when your going old school you have to go old school all the way, I grew up playing atari when it first came out, and then nes and every system then on out, but games were more fun back in the old school days anyway.
constructive criticism is free around here, you take it alot better than most so I gives ya kudo's on that. but if you have any questions or need help just be sure to ask around. we have a good hand of skilled vets around here.
Yeah, I'm open to criticism. Criticism is what makes the developer want to try harder at making what people like in a game.
How I look at it.
Even if it looks god-awful, I am going to try it.
Classic games.
Mmm
