How do I put the monsters I make on the map? I know this sounds dumb but I am really confused.

Click the "Properties" Button on the map. A new form will come up, and you'll see 4 or 5 drop down boxes that Say "NPC". Just select which NPC you want, and when you send the map, it should appear.
