Flash transparent - possible?

I tried some very visual fight system... but well... at the moment it's using premade flash files to show everything. I want to give a form a background and just play the flash movies with the moving actors in front of it. Of course without a white box. Is it possible?

So you mean it could be impossible to accomplish it?

Nothing is impossible, but maybe you'll need to make a different thing, like... well, you can export the flash to a series of png, can't you? Then you can make a frame by frame animation in pure dx7/8.
