PLEASE HELP! I am newbie!
#1
Hello! I am new here and I want to try with Mirage Source!

First of all I have some questions...
-Do I need to know anything in C/C++ to use MS?
-I downloaded it and found a lot of .frm/.frx files that I can't use... Must I compile them? How?
-And a thing that for me is important... Is it possible in Mirage to do map scrolling while you are walking?

Thanks to all!

1. This is in Visual Basic 6. So you need VB6 knowledge.
2. You require VB6 to edit Mirage Source.
3. It is possible, but you'll have to add it yourself.

Again, you could always hire a programmer to work for you.

Also, what version you using?

Why do people always treat that like an option? Noone's hiring anyone.

Learn to do stuff yourself, get something promising, and MAYBE someone who CAN program would be interested in your project enough to help you along.

Welcome to Mirage, please let me direct you to the knowledge base forum.

I never said someone WOULD program for you. =-p

People generally charge to program for you.

Alot easier to program yourself anyway, not worth hiring someone, especially since they could screw you over.

If you're wanting to work with Mirage, learn to program in VB6, and learn the source. You won't get very far without learning.

Welcome to the community. I suggest you lurk for a while, pick up a few tutorials and get familiar with it. You'll get a much warmer reception if you show you've tried to learn the wonders of the source before-hand.
