I like it...however (here it comes), it STILL needs to be a bit brighter. All I can see is the red blurs, but not much detail...seriously, just lighten it up a little bit so we can see the textures and blood, not just a gray rectangle with red blurs on it.

ok i made a button for it took me a while to get it right (i had tried to go through a bunch of steps only it looked crappy) and ive put both a dark and a light image to make everyone happy. tell me what you think

Just stay with the brightness of the first one. The second one has gone into being too bright.

Stick with the template you've started. Not because it looks amazing, but I think I remember you saying this is your first or you are new. It's not bad for first starting out. The darker button has a better contrast than the lighter one. Keep going with it. Cause finishing your first GUI, even if it is not the greatest, you'll learn more. Keep posting pics and we'll keep giving feedback until you are a master :mrgreen:


If this is for a fantasy style rpg, I am not a huge fan of the template. It reminds me more of an industrial look. But that is my opinion and that may change for me once I can see it finished.

no its not a fantasy, actually im not even making this for a game or engine, its just for practice unless someone wants it(which i highly doubt) but i was goin for a grunge maybe horror zombie type look to it i guess.
