DoEvents

What does the sub DoEvents do? I looked throughout the source, but I don't see it declared anywhere

So, DoEvents sort of allows the line of events to go 'through the ride'? Meaning that they are waiting in line and DoEvents goes and allows one event at a time, and when one event is done, it moves onward. And DoEvents is more useful for unclogging an application that is bogged down by the line of events?
