Granted, I'm sure I need to calm down, but with people like Dave, and the way Kite used to be, it's hard to not get pissed. And yes, I do know what I'm talking about when it comes to moderating a forum. I'm not an idiot you know.
As for people PM'ing you about removing it, it's not my fault the forum has cry babies. Like I said before, if you're offended by something, don't look there, don't post there, simple as that.
That image is the sig of one of my staff on my forums for Shade Wood, and I haven't changed it, or even said anything about it. I think it's funny, but I also think people who cut are idiots. Just my opinion, nothing wrong with that. I can think what I want, when I want. I can also express it, in any non-illegal form, if I so choose to.
By law, here in the US, what you did is called censorship, and violates the free speech.
Granted, everyone in the forums are not from the US, which is why I didn't push the matter.
Oh well. I don't care anymore. But I'm serious about leaving if someone doesn't do something about Dave.
He may know what he's doing sometimes, but he's a pure asshole. And I hate him, though I won't publicly post it, because my thread will get deleted.. Thoughts?

This shows how pathetic one can be...
Sorry, but all he wants is attention and things his way. He's a baby, and I don't know why no one else sees it.

The internet is a seperate entity from the government. Free speech does not apply, censorship is decided by the owner of the online "country" in a figurative speak. Though the government can regulate the internet, its only to such an extent.

This has been blown into a bigger deal than it is. It's normal members don't get friendly to mods over time. It happens in all communities.
It's the same with humans, nobody is perfect. I think we should get over this. And GSD, next time you delete a topic, please inform the member why you did it so these things can be avoided next time.

Not really... this is the staff section. We talk about this sort of stuff here for the purpose of our discussion, not with the community.

Sorry, I refuse to do this. Never done it, never will. I'm not going to start because of the little baby Advocate. Not one person has complained in the past. De-mod me if you want. I am NOT going to tell the thread author why I deleted their thread if it's in clear state. I will ONLY tell them when it's not clear.
Sorry, but that's how it's always been, and the forum has run perfect since.

For one, I am friends with Advocate. I purchased a key for his wife to play Arch Lord (kick butt game).
Needless to say, I do need to post the following:
1. If the forums are hosted on a US server (a computer that is physically located in the US), then it is under US jurisdiction. It does not matter if the company is outside of the US. I disagree with this, but can't help that matter.
2. Forums are provided by a person for support of a certain product (source). The right of free speech ends before logging onto the forums. As the forums are private property, any thing the owner says, goes.
This also means, that the owner is directly responsible for anything that is posted on the forums and can be held accountable. No disclaimer relieves the owner of that responsibility.
That said, I am not taking sides, and will not be posting much on these forums. Not that I post much anyways

GSD, with other words I mean you should tell them the topic is deleted. Or there is bound to be a new topic asking were it went.
