You’re so behind the times that it is pathetic... this was almost 1 and half years ago that KID52 was ever involved. He turned out to be a useless programmer and I have learned since that time that anything spawned off mirage source is useless for large games or engines. I no longer use MS or ES or any source that is based from MS or ES.

I am not saying it’s bad for small games because it is okay for them but when it comes to large amounts of players it’s a useless piece of technology + ive also stated how fast others have fallen installing a load of features and creating more problems than can or could be handled in VB.

VB was never designed to create games offline or online.

Okay so maybe I did come across as a lil bit of a git to start with but I did not intend for that to happen so I am sorry for that and didn’t mean any harm or any kind of offence towards you or your game mith.

Just want to clarify - the only times I have used MS is for small paid jobs fixing up other people's code that uses MS. I hang out here since I like to see what the VB game programming community is up to. :wink:

No, VB was designed to quickly create applications in a simple, easy-to-understand language. This doesn't mean it is limited to this, nor was there any intentions to limit it to this. Earlier versions of VB and Basic, this doesn't apply, but for the modern versions, it works just fine for a game as simple as a 2d ORPG.
