Windows Vista 64bit with VB6

has anyone got
vb6 to work with 64bit vista
and if so how
i cant do it
i always get errors like the file cmcs21.ocx is missing and
error accessing registery

Are you using a legit copy of VB6? If you're not, pirate better.

Remove it all, reinstall it with elevated permissions.

After reboot go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VB98 or wherever your VB installation is and then find the VB6.exe file, open the properties, Compatability tab, then make sure it's running in administrator mode.

and i got 2 more from internet

Are you saying VB6 doesn't work even if you create a blank project?
Because it looks like your VB6 just can't run MSE, try registering the OCX files and stuff... Smile
