Well obviously you can trade with other players, so anyone can sell certain items. The point of the merchant is to help keep the economy flowing.

Ok. Was just wondering, since I've heard some real stupid plots for games, like this, except the stupid thing was Merchants got stuff like Free. Lawl.

Merchants have to buy stuff from other players. They're the only ones that can sell to a shop though.
