There is no other version avalible for download except the one on the download page. MSE doesnt update like the engines do, because it really sin't an engine per say.

MSE 1 is the best out, it has the optimizations in it. MSE 1 was derived from MS 3.0.3, MS 3.0.7 is the same as 303, but it uses MySQL instead of ini files.

so you don't know a thing about VB6... and let me guess... you downloaded VB6 too?

if you're serious about making a game in VB6... 1st you should make a smaller project or two like a calculator, basic as it may sound, it's the best starter project...

The easiest way to learn is to read the code, soon you will see that 90% of coding is logics, it's not hard.

waaaay more than 90% lol... more like 98%... barely any coding is anything but thinking things through logically Tongue

Close enough. =P

I don't like saying anything is more than 90%, due to that's not always true.

Yeah i actually research a lot.. Once you actually understand coding, if do something you want, all you need to do is plan then research.. Although, blting still sucks..

I found bltting pretty easy to learn, bit comnfusing at the start, but oonce you look at it, figure out what each argument does its simple

I agree with Dark on teh bliting part, I suck at it, although some might wonder how it's possible to suck at it, I just don't understand that part of the code, but then again, I havn't really spent much time looking over it.

Yeah same here Advocate.. I've concentrated more on other areas.. Although there is still time.. And yeah, its just the arguments, and functions of directx that i need to get.. Once i know how to use them i'll be fine..
