Seamless/Scrolling Maps - William - 16-02-2007

So, I never gotten myself into adding this yet to my game. Never really dealt much with it what so ever. So do you guys recommend one that you know are good?

If you're going for that kind of look... i really think it's better to go in the direction that i went/was going in... or dragoons master is going in... and just make the game 1 big scrolling map. There are really good ways of dealing with it that i don't think dragoons master thought about... but i think it's worth considering.

Deloria had seamless scrolling maps, it was pretty good

@Obsidian: That type is pretty cool. Wanna talk some about that later.

@Vans: Thanks

In my opinion is looks nicer but its harder for the mappers to map. Some people find it easier.

Yeah it will probably be harder to map. But Im thinking on having maps that are app. 50*50. That would give the feeling of large maps, but still it's organized if you have many maps.

I actually need to have my game have one large world map, and then some small maps for like houses.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for this?
