Shell and Mirage - -_FirZen_- - 20-01-2007

Greetings

I don't come here for a long time... By anyway, I was told, when I was a complete newbie at these VB engines, that a server with SHELL commands could be used to host a server.
If so is possible, do I need just the shell feature or something else?

What is Shell?

- William - 21-01-2007

Shell is a command to launch a program. Not sure what he means, it probably has another meaning too thought.

Hum, yes, shell as in command to launch programs.
I found a list of free shell servers but they are all run on Linux or FreeBSD, none of these will do, right?

this is becuase I share my modem. So I keep disconnecting... I can't be a server like that. I was thinking about getting a wireless router, to share the connection with a laptop. I got a 3mps internet. would that lag?
