Should there be 1 board for MS3.0.3, 1 board for MSE1 and 1 board for MSE2 when it comes?

Or should they all kinda blend into the community. I think its better to have some organization for the old members who still use 3.0.3 and same goes for MSE1.

I think thats a good idea, also a download link for 303 and the others.

- Robin - 24-12-2006

Isn't MSE simply 3.0.3 with optimisations and a bit of organising?

I think we should put 3.0.7 up instead.

New boards will atm be:
  • MS 3.0.3 & 3.0.7
  • MSE Build 1
  • MSE Build 2

I think 303 and 307 should be splited into 2 diferent forums. The reason is becouse most questions about 307 is about the sql stuff, everything else is basicly the same. So there will be a lot of questions about database on the same forums or 303, which doesn't make any sense... I think it will be more organized if they got splited.

Thats fine, I like it organized. So there will be 4 boards (4 sources).

Yeah I agree 3.0.7 should have its own since the sql stuff and all. Could post some mysql tutorials and all.

- William - 24-12-2006

Never seen anybody use 3.0.7 thoguht.

- Robin - 24-12-2006

I used it until I move to my own engine.

Most of the 3.0.3 and MSE1 tutorials worked, unless it was server-client interaction or copy&paste tutorials which over-wrote the saving code.

I would suggest you post a warning somewhere, telling people not to use it unless they know what they are doing.

- William - 24-12-2006

A warning could be good Tongue

I use it currently. Everything is pretty much same except having sql instead of inis so loading and saving data is different thats about it
