Im sure there are many ways to do this, but I would like to hear how you would advertise a game. What methods you would use.
I typically only do this:
- Posting on forums.
- Adding vote buttons from a top-mmorpg-site.

Reddit, YouTube, and Facebook. Find a local comic book shop, see if they'll let you hang a flier, or leave a stack of ad-cards with a short description and a web address.

Reddit is probably one of the best methods I find. Stay away from 4chan though. But reddit is good because you hit a lot of people in a short space of time.
