Mapping a Network Drive - Anthony - 18-10-2009 I am not sure how many people know that you can map a network drive from your Windows machine to your web server and pretty much use Explorer as a FTP client. I just figured it out yesterday and I am pretty pleased with how it works. Windows 7 Open My Computer and right click, chose add network location. Click Next, Next, type in your FTP address, Next.. Type your Username and that's it. You'll be prompt for a password when you first try to access it. Re: Mapping a Network Drive - Matt - 18-10-2009 Nice. Thanks. It's so much easier than using FireFTP. ![]() Re: Mapping a Network Drive - Rian - 18-10-2009 I really need to get windows 7 -_- Re: Mapping a Network Drive - Egon - 18-10-2009 I used to do that with XP and didn't like it.
