VB or VB.NET? - Kevin49 - 30-08-2009 Hello everyone! I know little VB but enough to make small and simple programs. So I went on amazon looking for a book teaching VB. But then one question came to my mind. "Hey ! VB's going to be unused in a couple of years, why not trying VB.NET?" "But is it harder to learn? And is there any mirage source programmed in VB.NET? And in the most objective way, which is better and the most useful.?" And, (a quite wide question) : What can we do with VB.NET ? What kind of programs ?(putting aside creating MMORPG's lol) PS : I have Visual Basic 6, but with what do we program in VB.NET? Thank you very much ![]() Re: VB or VB.NET? - Beres - 31-08-2009 Go VB.NET. You can do everything VB6 can do plus more.
