New laptop has Vista and I can't start the MS client.

Turn UAC off in the user account manager under control panel. Restart the computer. Register all the files you need. I suggest downloading libraryfiles.exe and then separately registering dx7vb.dll or dx8vb.dll whichever version of MS you're using.
Should be good after that.

LIBRARY FILES. That's what it was... I couldn't remember what it was or the name. I already had UAC disabled and registered dx7.
