Assistance once more - Elmrok - 12-08-2009
A friend of mine is having trouble connecting to my server. She is running Windows Vista, but has successfully connected to a mirage game before. When she tries to make an account, the server sets up a connection with her client, but it will not follow through, it terminates it. I made an account for her, and she cannot log in, again the server sets the connection up, but it terminates it before it logs in. Can someone help me figure out what is going on please? thank you.

Like when she clicks "Use Character" it loads the game then boots her?

I think when she clicks login after typing her information, it just hangs for her and the server terminates her connection.
I know there is a fix for this, because I JUST had the same problem but I don't remember what it was.

Removing the server-side timers eliminates a trigger for this but that issue is sporadic and this is constant... hmmmz

Yeah. I just had the same problem on my game and it's a lot different than ms4. If I remember correctly, it was an issue he was having with his computer, not the server at all. I don't remember though.

Yeah, when she types in her account info, and hits login, or new account, the server terminates her connection after a moment. Should i try disabling the timers server side? or what?
