Which source to use? - Armalyte - 08-06-2009 Hey, i'm starting off with a fair amount of programming experience [Turing] but not too much in VB but a working understanding. I'm just wondering which engine you guys would recommend for me to use. I'm going to assume the newest Mirage Source but i'm just prodding the community for potential hints. Thanks. Re: Which source to use? - Aaron - 08-06-2009 Most people will probably tell you to use nothing else other then MS4. I don't use any of the sources, but I would probably say go with MS4 since I am pretty sure its the most developed and most optimized. Re: Which source to use? - GIAKEN - 08-06-2009 I would say to use MS4 as a base...not really an engine. You can learn programming off of it, build it up, get more experience, etc. If you want a good engine, you'll have to make your own unless you plan on spending some cash for other main stream engines. Re: Which source to use? - Armalyte - 08-06-2009 Cool, thank you for your advice. Re: Which source to use? - Doomy - 12-06-2009 DFA Wrote:dont use 3.78why |
