[Tweak] Password Character - Robin - 29-05-2009 Here's how to change the password character from '*' to '•'. Highlight this: • Right click, and select 'Copy'. Go in to frmLogin and select the password text box. Open the properties of the component, and find "PasswordChar". Where you see the '*', select it and paste in the '•'. Do the same for any other password boxes, such as those in frmNewAccount. Yours, Robin Re: [Tweak] Password Character - GIAKEN - 29-05-2009 Not really a fan of this password character. Re: [Tweak] Password Character - Robin - 29-05-2009 GIAKEN Wrote:Not really a fan of this password character. Don't use it then. Re: [Tweak] Password Character - Robin - 30-05-2009 You gave it a rating of 0 because it's so basic? The rating system is there to give low ratings to tutorial that're bugged, broken or bloated. Bastards. xD Re: [Tweak] Password Character - Matt - 30-05-2009 I think it's a good thing to change. I hate the * for the passwords. I'm used to looking for the dot these days. It's kinda the general character used. ![]() Re: [Tweak] Password Character - Beres - 30-05-2009 I always use to put it on wingdings and put the pass char as "l". I believe it made those dots. Re: [Tweak] Password Character - halla - 20-06-2009 Tried and it makes it a l looking character but thicker. guess I will just stick with * Re: [Tweak] Password Character - Nean - 20-06-2009 I give this tutorial a 5. Why? Because not only is it simple, but it works flawlessly. ![]() Re: [Tweak] Password Character - halla - 20-06-2009 What Beres said worked for me but didn't simply copy and pasting. Re: [Tweak] Password Character - jaheoo - 28-07-2009 I rated it 5 because it may be basic but it damn well fucking works! Re: [Tweak] Password Character - timster0 - 28-07-2009 *'s look to old IMO. |
