Forum Mods - Jacob - 08-04-2009 Let me know if you think we should add any mods to the forums. - Not moderators Re: Forum Mods - Rian - 08-04-2009 I think it'd be cool if the tutorials could get some sort of rank system that lets people know whether or not it works. Like a Thumbs-up, Thumbs-down type thing maybe. Re: Forum Mods - Jacob - 08-04-2009 That's a good idea. I wonder if there's anything, or if Cruzn can do it ![]() Re: Forum Mods - Jacob - 08-04-2009 http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=1524575 That's the only thing I've found so far... Re: Forum Mods - Rian - 08-04-2009 Looks like it might Work. Cruzn might be able to work his php magic on it and come up with something more fitting. Re: Forum Mods - Jacob - 08-04-2009 PHP Magic sounds powerful... Re: Forum Mods - Cruzn - 08-04-2009 I'll look into modifying that to work only in certain forums. Re: Forum Mods - Rian - 08-04-2009 Re: Forum Mods - Cruzn - 09-04-2009 Testable WIP: http://web.miragesource.com/forums/phpBB3/ Change your theme to PROSILVER. It has been activated to work for this forum / http://web.miragesource.com/forums/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=23. Enjoy. Re: Forum Mods - Cruzn - 09-04-2009 Alright, everything has been copied over to the live version. For prosilver: voting is located at the top right of the page. For subsilver: voting is located at the bottom right of the page. Lock/unlocks: you can (un)/lock specific posts from being voted on through the MCP. Resetting: you can reset a topic's rating AND reset user votes along with it. (ie. allow re-voting in the same topic). Dugor: you can enable/disable forums from using voting through the admin panel, under forum editting. Re: Forum Mods - Rian - 09-04-2009 It works! Nice job Cruzn ![]() Re: Forum Mods - Jacob - 09-04-2009 Thanks again! I'll set up the tutorial section later. |
