This topic is for people to explain why they think they're a veteran of Mirage Source. If you can give a valid reason and example as to why you're a vet, I will add you to the group.

I think I should be a vet because even though I only joined on Jul 24, 2008, I have managed to not be a douche, get along with you all, and generally not fail as hard as most of the NewGens. Besides, the definition of veteran is someone with experience. And though as I said before I haven't been here long, I know how a lot of you are/work, and you all know how I am.
Also, I really really really want that orange name. xD

Well, as it stands, it's more based on time you've been on Mirage. The way me and Dugor see it, if you've been around as long as me, Rian, Asrrin, Dave, Grim, etc.
I don't want EVERYONE runnin' around with vet status. Lol. It would defeat the entire purpose. So, I think I'll base it on length of time you've been on the forums.
Considering Robin has been here longer than most of you, and I don't consider him a vet, means I don't consider you guys vets.

If you're going to base it on time spent, then change it to Oldbie or Oldgen or something...
I think Vet should be the people that work hard on MS and have stayed a decent amount of time.
If you're only going to base it on whoever has been here longer than Robin, then you won't have hardly any members...but if you base it on amount contributed and skill within the community then you'll have a few more.

I said that was how we were generally basing it. I would honestly have to talk to Dugor and see the route he wants to take with it. When we were talking about it, we were both pretty much thinking along the lines of people who have been here for a very long time. *shrugs*
We'll see.

I've been here for such a long time... I know some basic BS in the source and no matter what I seem to get on with everyone? Even the oldest of old people from mirage. :3
