Creating a Single Player RPG from MS4 - Nean - 22-12-2008

How would I do this? Obviously it won't need a server, so I'd need to get rid of the packets, but I don't really know how to make things happen at specific places, and I don't know how to make these things work without packets... So just a short explanation or something, please?

It would be a lot easier to do something from scratch or find an example from planet source code.

Trust me, it'd be tons more learning experience if you rip code from MS..

I never did a single rpg but that should've been my first step before anything.

Experience you won't need

How could you EVEN say that?

The experience that shows him what's he gonna need for a
single p. RPG and what he doesn't need. Better working with
something he has for a while now.

Every experience is needed.

Its very hard to think of another situation you're going to be doing the same thing.

Not every experience is useful, like experiencing having your eyeballs removed with an ice-cream scooper.
