My First Character Template - alucard12 - 22-12-2008
This is my first sprite, that I have been working on for a couple of hours. I seriously need some C&C. Tell me what I am lacking!!!! PLEASE! lol :lol:

I wish they had Imgzoom on this forum so you can see what I did, but on my base sprite I shaded around the face and connected the neck to the body, and on my example I made the helm more darker and full and I also mess with the sword.

Thank you Matt. This is the style that I wanted to use for my game, but I just wanted to know some tips to make it better. All I got from most of you guys were negative comments with no tips for improvements.

Tip 1 then, remove the pink color from his face. That's obviously how he looks constipated.

I have no idea if this might help, but maybe moves there hands up a bit, so they don't look so awkward. I know that is where they should go if you had arms, but you don't and so its hard to piece in what the hands are attached too.

Well, the pink part was supposed to be a sign of the sprite blushing,but I will remove it and see if it works out.
