Strange that so many people seem to have given up on the source in only two years. Only person here I recognize is Dave >_>..

Either way, I doubt anyone would recognize. I'm pretty sure I went as Blackthorn around two years ago when I was most involved in the source. Godsent, Mr Muffles? ._.

Ahwell. With some recent coaxing from some new people I'm supposed to use this source to make a game. Though everything seems to be a tutorial now. I wonder..

Hm. Maybe that's a bit off topic for this forum. Lol, sorry.

A lot of people I think went missing because they kept having to re-register, the site kept going down, switching software every 5 days, even when no hacking happened.

Not only that, but everything is being handed to newbies these days on a silver platter. I think the biggest knock to this community was Elysium, which basically stole most of the members, and nobody wants to work with the base source anymore because of it.

The only way Shanarra can save the community is by probably releasing the Mirage he programmed in another language, though, even that wouldn't be popular for very long.

Also, we seemed to have lost all of our good community leaders, and have gained all of these people whining asking about older members whose accomplishments at the time were great, but are worth nothing now, as there are much better programmers around. I also think that somewhere along the way, the community lost its sense of competition that pushed people, and now everyone's just babying eachother by throwing around tutorials.

I miss the days where people would share their methods of how to do something with other elite people, but didn't share them with the whole community, as is the case now.
