wasnt able to finish more because im ill atm =( feeling tired and powerless

but as soon as i get better i will add sand, beach and other basic tiles

Also fixed some bugs with the menu and had another person test it out a little bit ago.

are your sprites gonna be 32x32?

Yeah our sprites and tiles are 32x32, but everything else is free form. Our emoticons are 30x40 and the targeting is 32x40 I think...but our sizes for everything but tiles and sprites will be anything.

Hm you should consider/test out having sprites and tiles on a smaller scale. Personally i like the smallest it can get, My sprites are 16x32. I think they look the best for the way the characters walk. Less space between characters/tiles = the better

Those sprites are custom made right? If so I suggest you try and make the grass and other major things custom made as well.

The grass is not custom made, I've seen it several times. Perhaps edit it just a tiny bit.

They sort of remind me of Seiken Densetsu 3 grass tiles. They aren't the same though.

I think grass needs to be britgher for a matter of contrast with the chars

Not nesseccarily. I suggest he doesnt use a black border color on the sprite. Instead make the border color a darker color of the color the border is around.

I dont think the black outline has anything to do with the blend of the grass as long as other objects has the black stroke aswell, dunno, try posting in a pixel art forum, they will sure give you a hand with the graphics

the first one looks more cartoony to me. Depends on what kind of look you want, imo.
