Help - GIAKEN - 22-09-2008 Somebody give me pointers for this GUI...I'm not sure what I need to do or what colors I should change or whatever. [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND] Re: Help - Robin - 22-09-2008 Delete it all, stop using real images, try again. Re: Help - GIAKEN - 22-09-2008 Robin Wrote:Delete it all, stop using real images, try again. Shut up. Re: Help - Robin - 22-09-2008 Something cartoony. Animé works best usually, as these games usually use animé-based sprites. Don't use block gradients or colour. Texture them. Re: Help - GIAKEN - 22-09-2008 Mmm...I'll keep looking for some GFX to use then. Thanks for the help, Robin. I'll let you sex me up any time you want. Re: Help - GIAKEN - 23-09-2008 You can sex me up too, DFA. Re: Help - Nean - 23-09-2008 Giaken is a slut. Re: Help - GIAKEN - 23-09-2008 Nean Wrote:Giaken is a slut. Re: Help - GIAKEN - 23-09-2008 [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND] Meh...comments? Re: Help - Rian - 23-09-2008 Meh, I liked the first one better. Don't listen to Robin. Just cuz he spanks to anime doesn't mean we all do. Re: Help - GIAKEN - 23-09-2008 Yeah...I don't like to make things too complicated looking. I'll just go with my first one and modify it then ![]() Re: Help - Robin - 24-09-2008 Pfft, I can make animé look amazing. As I said, having an image with some random shit over it doesn't look good. Blend it. Re: Help - Robin - 28-09-2008 James Wrote:Robin Wrote:Pfft, I can make animé look amazing. l2useinitative. Layer Blending Options are a good one, the others are the texture stamp tool that I showed in my GUI tutorial, and then just colour overlays. One thing: Never use just a picture in the background. Do something to it. The best one is to get a render, or an image with a white background, and use 'colour burn' to place it over a parchment texture. I use that a lot, and it looks amazing ![]() |
