Selling my computer - DarkX - 22-07-2008 Hey if you guys want to buy a new computer to convert to a server I'm selling mine it was Vista but I have come to hate Vista so I downgraded it to XP Pro. All the things that come with it are authentic HP products. Windows XP Professional Amd Athlon 64x2 4800+ 1040 memory 500 gigabyte harddrive GeForce6150 SE Lightscribe dvd burner Keyboard Optical mouse ^^^The above is limited do to most peoples lacking knowledge of computer specs^^^^ OPTIONAL: 17" CRT moniter I am selling it for $700 without moniter and $850 with the moniter, I might haggle with the price a little. And we can negotiate the shipping. Re: Selling my computer - Spodi - 22-07-2008 I hope you realize that the only thing worth more than like $100 there is the HDD. The whole thing together is probably like $300. And what the **** is 1040 memory? If you mean MB of memory, I'm staying the hell away from a computer that somehow has 1040 MB of memory. Re: Selling my computer - GIAKEN - 22-07-2008 My laptop has a 17" display and has double those specs (only 250 GB HD, however) and it only cost me 600$. Re: Selling my computer - Matt - 22-07-2008 My bios says I have 1048MB of ram. >.> Windows says I have 1024 though. XD Re: Selling my computer - Spodi - 22-07-2008 So I think we've established that, brand new, that computer isn't worth anywhere near that much. Used? I'd say maybe $200, tops. Only part of any value is the HDD. The rest of it can't even really be scrapped. Re: Selling my computer - GIAKEN - 22-07-2008 What kind of HD and RAM does he have, though? They're probably shit too. We live electricals. Re: Selling my computer - Reece - 22-07-2008 I'll give you £50 ($100USD) for the HD you pay for shipping ofc. Re: Selling my computer - Coke - 22-07-2008 Hmm, without trying to sound nasty, I built MR's server for under that price and its spec is better with all new parts, sata II and silent PSU / fans - the lot >.< Including a £70 case.. Re: Selling my computer - Yoshiko - 18-08-2008 Shadow Dragon Wrote:Well, I bought it minus the crt, and my college bought it for more than He sold it to me for; and it was that bad it ran pretty nicely and had a SLI slot, and it was a sata and DDR2. The school bought it for 1200 bucks.Next step is conquering the world. Re: Selling my computer - DarkX - 31-08-2008 by the way shadow my brother bought another one of those computers and the graphics card he qoutes is a 512(highly doubt that for as cheap as it is.
