Nin Online is a 2D Naruto ORPG project made by me and Robin. The game is going to be completely remade, with 100% Custom Sprites & Graphics. Robin is coding the game based of his famous DirectX8 Engine used in Life Essence which is of course, based of Winds Whisper's DX7 Engine.

In the game, you can choose to be born in either the Leaf, Sand, Mist or Sound Village, You then enroll in an academy to start learning the basics. At a certain level, you can take a Genin Test which, if you pass, will change your rank Genin. There will also be Chunnin Exams and more tasks to increase your rank.

In order to use jutsus, you will need to perform a series of hand seals which you can place on hotkeys. At certain levels and ranks you can learn new handseals which will allow you to get perform more, and harder Techniques. Every Jutsu has a unique combo of hand seals which can be read and learned through Libraries in villages.

That is simply a mock-up to test the new GUI I made for all players who choose the Leaf Village. If they were to choose another one of the four villages, they will see a different GUI.

Re: Game - Nin Online - Robin - 07-04-2008

Rory. Can you plz plz plz remove MMORPG from all the advertisements you've posted and replace with ORPG?

I've bitched at sooo many people in the past for using that term and it'd be so hypocritical of me to classify my own game as it >_>

Re: Game - Nin Online - William - 07-04-2008

Opps edited it..

... and I thought Robin was a admin and could edit things on his own

Re: Game - Nin Online - Robin - 07-04-2008

Wow, I totally forgot I had admin >_>

Re: Game - Nin Online - Rory - 07-04-2008

Sorry Robin XD
I rush all the advertisements so I never check when I type things like that.

Re: Game - Nin Online - Vans - 09-04-2008

^^ I don't know you at all, but if Robin is pleased that you're pleased by our work, then I'm pleased. Big Grin

Lol. I have a habit of speaking my mind. I very rarely say I like anything about anyone's projects. That's why he said what he said when I said I liked your trees. ^_^

In all honesty, I like how the entire game looks, aside from the face on the sprite in the mockup, he looks, sad? I dunno..

Glad you like it! =)

Re: Game - Nin Online - Xlithan - 29-04-2008

If this game actually takes off, unlike all the other crappy games ever attempted to be made with Mirage Source (Including my own...) it could really turn into something big and popular along with other independant free games such as Endless, Tibia, RuneScape etc.

Good luck, it looks awesome so far.

Re: Game - Nin Online - Robin - 30-04-2008

Nin Online uses my amazing engine. It should take off.

I haven't lost interest in anything yet ;D

Naruto Realm died because I couldn't get a decent graphics artist.

Winds Whisper is still alive, and so are all my other projects which I was serious about.

Re: Game - Nin Online - Beres - 08-05-2008
