Important thing - Badgers - 24-01-2008 Some parts are so horribly programmed I feel like puking. That's why I'm suggesting you dig deep, cut down those lines, get rid of the nooby stuff. It's the same as it's always been. It's full of crap in the most important areas. I doubt anyone will optimize it. Or are you planning to leave it the way it is? Re: Important thing - Anthony - 24-01-2008 Who are you? Thats the way Mirage is... Everyone knows it and everyone knows it's really better to code your own engine from the ground up. Mirage is basically for new programmers to learn to start somewhere. I find reading books and stuff isn't as good as what Mirage has taught me, even if it's taught me badly ![]() There are many optimizations around, just have a look. If you don't want it, then don't use it and don't complain about it being shitty. Re: Important thing - funkynut - 25-01-2008 Jeez, he makes a reasonable suggestion that even you lot know is true, yet jump on him? What difference would it make if he optimized it, like many here already have, it probably wont become the main source now will it? Re: Important thing - Matt2 - 25-01-2008 His suggestion was not reasonable at all. He was just complaining, because he, himself[to annoy Robin], cannot code. Or, if he can legitimately code, then why would he post that? He could take it upon himself to do it. Then again, our definitions of 'reasonable' may be different. Re: Important thing - Dragoons Master - 25-01-2008 It's just a kidie that want's free perfect source. Just ignore it. Re: Important thing - Robin - 25-01-2008 Love you too Matt Re: Important thing - Kousaten - 29-01-2008 It seems reasonable if you don't want to do any work yourself. In other words, it's not reasonable at all here. ![]() |
