Winsock name? - Daemonblade777 - 13-12-2007

My friend is helping me make a program I am working on...And he told me I need to find out my Winsock's name, but I have no clue how. And for some reason he won't explain to me how. So could some one here, please tell me how? I hope some one knows...

I think your 'friend' is fucking with you.

Throw dirt in his eyes and steal his pets.

You're so polite.

I know basic programming and I would have no idea what someone meant if they asked me for my winsocks name.

I think it's what Dave said though.. The name of the control and what not.

What if I'm not using MS? Would the name change?

It should tell you the control's name.

Click on the winsock control, open up properties and it'll show it next to 'Name'.
