AI Walking Video - Rezeyu - 28-11-2007 Flash SWF Version AVI Video Version Both the same clip, so choose your poison. Anyways, ignore any blue coloring, my camtasia is acting up, having compatibility issues with my video card. Anywho, to explain: The NPC on the left, is 'advanced' the one on the right, is the default AI from MSE 1. If you watch, the one on the right bumbles around, randomly walking, in random directions; whereas the one on the left walks in a straight line, like someone with purpose, only changing if an obstacle impedes him. Threat assessment and Self preservation instincts are active now, but I haven't done the non-combat type behaviors, other than NPCs will group together. |
