Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - Coke - 24-08-2007

I spent £215 on this n64, but its not a normal one its different; it has like 15% more processing power or something, doesent look like an n64 at all but takes the cartriges and runs 4 player perfect dark lagless, compared to the near freezing unplayability of it on the normal n64, twas a worthwhile investment.

Yarrr

I've never played one of these ones, but my N64 plays PD with 4 players perfectly. I've never had lag of any kind.

Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - Coke - 24-08-2007

Max simulants, all with the super dragon, explosions, wall planted laptop guns everywhere etc, and 4 players on a normal n64 is mentttallll lag.

Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - Egon - 24-08-2007

It's true, it does lag. But the laptop guns make up for it.

Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - Rezeyu - 24-08-2007

Mine never lagged with 4 player/12 bot matches either. =/

Although, without the expansion pack, the 2 player or w/e you can do lags.

Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - Coke - 24-08-2007

Well i have the expansion pack etc in my normal n64 and the lag with full on 4 player perfect dark made us stop playing because it was so annoying,

maybe your just not noticing the lag - its there and gets v.heavy at times.

~

Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - Matt - 24-08-2007

I've never had lag, even with that exact setup. O_o

Laptop guns kill the game, imo. They make it too easy to get kills and get killed.

Also remember, your systems run PAL, ours run NTFS. Different setups and crap. That could be it too. I've seen som PAL version XBox games run better than NTFS and vice versa.

Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - BrandiniMP - 27-08-2007

ok a few things, tis not my site, i am willing to lower the price, the current price is just a guideline, and the n64 is PAL, works fine, actually ive barely used it, i got it when n64's were expensive lol

If it's PAL, it's basically useless to us in America.

Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - Rezeyu - 28-08-2007

It only costs 60 in the US if you go to most Hollywood Videos or EB Games in my area.

Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - BrandiniMP - 28-08-2007

tbh im really not bothered about the price aslong as its more that 15 GBP

Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - Matt - 28-08-2007

I saw the same system at GameStop yesterday for $15. No games with it, but they're games are like.. $3 each. Perfect Dark was $4.

Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - funkynut - 28-08-2007

Cant American tvs run in pal mode? The ones in uk can run in both ntfs and Pal modes Confused

Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - Matt - 28-08-2007

Expensive TVs I'm sure, but not the ones I own.

My XBox can play ntfs and pal, but that's cause it's modded. I've never tried a PAL version game though, so I dunno if it would run on my TV or not to be honest.

Regardless, it's useless to someone here in the US.

Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - Robin - 28-08-2007

Bah, Americans making it so awkward for everyone else again ><

It's annoying as hell having games pop up asking you if you want to run in PAL or NTFS.

Re: Selling Pikachu Nintendo 64 Great condition - Matt - 28-08-2007

You know, it's NOT Americans this time Robin. It's you guys. Even Japan uses NTFS-J. We use a direct form of what Japan uses. You guys use different stuff.

So you fail this time, trying to blame America.

Blame Canada! =D
