Mapnpc incorrect.. position? - Rezeyu - 12-08-2007 Alright well, I was messing with making playlists, so I just had the client running, I flipped over, and noticed that my map npc was ontop of my char. I then noticed I couldn't attack the npc either, but I could attack the square below it.. And if I try to walk into that square, i get DCed It seems to happen randomly. I don't know where to start looking, I think it might be that something is blocking the movement, but still recording the x/y changes. Ideas/Help plx? Re: Mapnpc incorrect.. position? - Reece - 15-08-2007 Have you made it so players can walk through each other? If not, try and make the player a block tile to NPCs maybe? Re: Mapnpc incorrect.. position? - Rezeyu - 16-08-2007 It doesn't do it much anymore. It just seemed like the NPc tried to pass through me, the sprite stayed in place, but the server noted it as a move anyways. Then if I stepped where the NPC "was" it booted me for position modification. I removed the majority of the MapNPC rec, only thing left is number, and I'll prolly end up taking that out too, and the error stopped happening. |
