Best version of mirage to use? - Stomach Pulser - 22-07-2007
Just asking what version you use (MSE build 1, 3.0.3, 3.0.7). I have always used MSE build1, and I was thinking about going over to 3.0.7.

MS307 is the most diverse version of MS, it uses MySQL Database instead of INI files to store data.
MS303 is so similar to MSE1, there's no reason to use it.
There is if you're used to how things are setup and where things are in 303.

If I started over right now, I'd use 303. Not MSE1.
I don't like MSE. I don't care for how things were moved around and what not. I'm used to what I'm used to. So I wouldn't use MSE. Hell, I've only downloaded it once.

But that's just a personal preference.
Truth be told, whenever I used 3.0.3 I always moved everything into the modules used in MSE1.
Anyway, if he's used MSE1 all the other times, then he should keep using it.

Agreed. But he asked which is best, and that question can never really be answered, because it's always going to be that person's personal preference.

After 3 years of developing in 3.0.3 I don't think there is much difference from MSE xD That's why I still use 3.0.3, with MySql so it looks like 3.0.7 xD
