hello everyone just wanted to start my first post with a help question im kinda new to coding in vb and i wanted to ask a question here goes lol just wanted to know if it was possible to make it so i dont have to connect to the internet to play bcuz my computer at home doesnt have internet right now

If you want to play it and you have the server on your computer, than yea do what he said(its also called localhost), if you wanna play a game with the server on another computr...of course you need the internet

ive already changed the default ip to 127.0.0.1 and ive even tried setting the port to 0 so it would pick a random port but uh i still get the servers down msg box

.don't make the port 0, no offence, but thats REALLY stupid
.Which one are you making 0? anyway, both the server and client have a port var, the client needs to be able to find the server, if it doesnt have the port, it wont be able to find the server.
