strange errors - Xlithan - 02-07-2007

This isn't specifically to do with mirage source itself, since I'm not using MS for this particular project. When I run the source code on this comp it runs perfect, but when I run the source on my other comp it doesn't run. It keeps saying that the Rich Text Box object library isn't registered, when i've registered it. I also get Run Time Error 7 (Out of Memory) when trying to run the compiled source.

Very strange.

What are the specs for the two computers, and is this a graphical program? Do you load a lot into RAM, etc?

Re: strange errors - Xlithan - 02-07-2007

I'm using Konfuze. The one im trying to run it on that's displaying the errors is Windows XP, AMD Athlon XP 2500+, 512mb RAM, 80gb HDD, 1.83Ghz

Not sure it has much to do with specs, the main errors seem to be the object library errors. No idea why it's doing this.

Re: strange errors - Matt - 02-07-2007

Hm. Sounds to me like it's not registering the files. Did you do this manually or did you install libraryfiles.exe?

Re: strange errors - Robin - 02-07-2007

You don't have the RTB control loaded.

Go install library files.

Re: strange errors - Xlithan - 02-07-2007

That's the one. I've been registering the RTB library file but it still tells me it's not registered.

I'll download the latest VB6 runtime exe and see if that helps.

seems it's a bug with the deloria source that's currently hosted. I'll use my old source instead since it works better. Gunna have to recode alot of the things I added though. Ahh well.
