how to give my char gm and what is the gm commands such as map editor item editor?
and is the map supposed to be all black when i download the engine and start it without changing anything ?

you can open up your accounts text file thats in the server folder...find your character and set your admin power to 4...
then you could search in the vb files "admin" and it should take you to the area where the admin controls are.
just making a guess though since i haven't used mirage source in forever.

More or less. Cept you need to chance the access=0 to access=4 in your account file, under the character you created.
As for the commands, it's not hard.
/mapeditor
/editnpc
/editshop
/edititem
etc.
