- funkynut - 02-06-2006 They are there, but you have to do something different to get the same result... Hence you cant do a straight port over. I was going to start mse++ myself until I heard grim was doing same, I was only going to do it so I can memorize c++ much better, since I find it easy but I cant remember all the details and ms helped me with my vb so might find it better if there was a c++ equivilent - grimsk8ter11 - 02-06-2006 ya, like LTrim, RTrim, Trim, UCASE LCASE and such, I had to create myself. - Doombringer - 03-06-2006 I voted C++, if we have a version for C++, Java and VB we got most of the major bases, others we could do is perl and delphi, but i dont like them, and had any real exprience with them (i have done some messing around and small apps). - grimsk8ter11 - 03-06-2006 perl for a game like this O_O if anytthing it would eb a handler, and i prefer python. - L&M - 03-06-2006 why dont you port it to python whats good about python ? (havent used it ) - grimsk8ter11 - 03-06-2006 i tihnk python is crumym for anything but snmall console applications and GUi-;ess server apps/ |
