Re: Sliding Map Transition - Matt - 25-08-2008 Robin Wrote:Perfekt Wrote:*shrugs* How so? I've learned a lot. I also learned how this system works and know a lot more than you people like to think. Just because I choose to have a life and not bury my nose in VB6 resource and tutorial sites, doesn't mean I don't know my shit. Doesn't mean you're not a noob. :3 Re: Sliding Map Transition - Acruno - 25-08-2008 Perfekt Wrote:Just because I choose to have a life ![]() Re: Sliding Map Transition - Matt - 25-08-2008 Acruno Wrote:Perfekt Wrote:Just because I choose to have a life You're new here. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and realize you're an idiot. Robin set the rank for as many posts as I have, to that. I'm no where near as active as I used to be. I've been a member of MS since 2004. A member of these forums, since 2006. Two years, it took me to get that many posts. Robin, I know a lot more than the people you consider a noob, but w/e. I imagine, we all can't be like you. Not all of us want to learn a completely dead language to better ourselves when programming with a dead engine. I have better things to do. I program Merrimint in my spare time, which isn't very often. Re: Sliding Map Transition - Jacob - 25-08-2008 I've learned VB6 and a good amount of C# since Febuary of this year, a good 6 months. I have a 5.5 month old baby, a wife, a full time job, and still have time to program and play games. Do I not have a life because I've learned Vb6 very well in such a short time? ![]() Re: Sliding Map Transition - Robin - 25-08-2008 Perfekt Wrote:Acruno Wrote:Perfekt Wrote:Just because I choose to have a life Rofl. Programming in VB is hardly wasted time. It's taught me a lot about programming in general, which I'll use later one when I can be bothered to learn Java more. ![]() Re: Sliding Map Transition - Acruno - 25-08-2008 Um, Perfekt. First of all, are you serious? Because I'm not. Secondly, I'm well aware Robin set the rank, I'm not, as you seem to feel, "an idiot". Chill. < 3 Re: Sliding Map Transition - Robin - 25-08-2008 Don't take anything Matt says seriously. He just talks hard because he's a black guy from the ghetto. Re: Sliding Map Transition - Matt - 25-08-2008 Robin Wrote:Don't take anything Matt says seriously. He just talks hard because he's a black guy from the ghetto. Yes. Fear me for I am black. Rawr. >.> Okay, seriously. I'm white. Acruno, in my eyes, you're an idiot until you prove me wrong. Only an idiot would point out what you did. Therefore, you're an idiot. Get over it. Accept it. Move on. Go masturbate with IcyHot or something. Dugor. You misunderstood me apparently. ![]() Btw, how old are you? O.o Re: Sliding Map Transition - GIAKEN - 25-08-2008 I don't see how I am a noob just because I wanted some reference :? Re: Sliding Map Transition - wisefire - 25-08-2008 GIAKEN Wrote:I don't see how I am a noob just because I wanted some reference :? You're all "Noobs" for using the term "Noob". Uh Oh, I am now, a "Noob". ]: Re: Sliding Map Transition - GIAKEN - 25-08-2008 Well I was just quoting what he called me (which was "noob"). Re: Sliding Map Transition - Coke - 25-08-2008 Dave Wrote:Forget Java, learn C++. Why would you do a stupid thing like that eh?! Re: Sliding Map Transition - Hikaru - 26-08-2008 Mmm... IcyHot Re: Sliding Map Transition - james1992_2006 - 30-08-2008 jeje now some1 should be nice and supply the nab who's still trying 2 learn with a copy of this lolz ![]() anywayz nah i wouldnt want a copy of it unless dave himself sent it 2 me ye, i can fell it now here comes the immature flamming guess ill just wait untill part: 2/3 are finished of the tutorial... Re: Sliding Map Transition - Robin - 30-08-2008 james1992_2006 Wrote:jeje now some1 should be nice and supply the nab who's still trying 2 learn with a copy of this lolz Read the thread. Dave released a patch that would automatically install this script. If you want, you can go run it in TortoiseSVN and take the code from there. We're not gonna flame you, we're just gonna tell you to read the thread before posting something useless. Re: Sliding Map Transition - Acruno - 04-09-2008 How did Dave intend this to be done then? When I do have time, this will be explained fully, notice the W.I.P. Re: Sliding Map Transition - Anthony - 04-09-2008 The tutorial should be, add the +'s and take take out or ignore the -'s. ^_^. Re: Sliding Map Transition - Rian - 04-09-2008 Perfekt Wrote:Anyone notice he's redoing this in images, still not the way Dave intended for it to be done? Better than a straight copypasta tutorial though. Re: Sliding Map Transition - Matt - 04-09-2008 Still not the way Dave intended for it to be done. He wants it fully explained and for the user to have to write the code from what they learned. No copy paste. I didn't get any copy paste when he was walking me through implementing it. I learned quite a bit from it as well. Re: Sliding Map Transition - Robin - 04-09-2008 Removed. Acruno, learn to explain stuff. Re: Sliding Map Transition - JokeofWeek - 04-09-2008 Robin Wrote:Removed. Rofl, feel bad for the kid XD Two times in a row now on the same tutorial  PS : On a slightly off-topic, could someone explain to me SVN? Never really understood it xD Is it just like a patching system and it patches your code and what not or is it just a way to store all your versions? :S |
