Library: wxWidgets CrossPlatform Developing Library http://www.wxwidgets.org - L&M - 02-06-2006 so can i help an is visual studios different from the visual C++ enviroment - grimsk8ter11 - 02-06-2006 visual C++ is part of visual studio ![]() - L&M - 02-06-2006 never used visual studios but can u answer the question can i help - grimsk8ter11 - 02-06-2006 xD i thought i did lol, misunderstoodf pointed out that i didn't message em on MSN - Misunderstood - 02-06-2006 ^ and you still didnt idiot ![]() - L&M - 02-06-2006 so im going to take a wild guess No - Misunderstood - 02-06-2006 He told me he when I was talking to him that he said yes, but obviously hes a very confused person. He also thinks he told you this already, which it doesnt look like he did... Grims very stupid sometimes...Just like how he still hasnt answered that one question but responsed to every other one...typical grim xD. - L&M - 02-06-2006 ok so its a yes an i found the wxwidgets library intergrated in to dev-c++ its sopuse to be like visaulC++ but implement regular C++ commands (bascially it just c++ with a visual designer) - grimsk8ter11 - 02-06-2006 You want the MSW version if your going to help, compile src/wxWindows.dsw and /build/wx.dsw to get the libraries started, liek i said though, message me on MSN ![]() - Obsidian - 02-06-2006 I've got to ask mis... although i think it's a well-founded idea... why rewrite it in Java? It can be "decompiled" quite easily... - L&M - 02-06-2006 ok im gooooing to have to wait till i gett a better computer for msv (shouldnt be long) but right now i found to good library that suite the needs of mmorpg the only thing i need is help with winsock thats what we are using right - Misunderstood - 02-06-2006 cause it will help me learn more obsidian ![]() - grimsk8ter11 - 02-06-2006 thats the onyl reaosn hes doing java hehe, to learn as mcuh as he can bout java, and im just doing C++ so people can elarn C++ the way I learned VB with somewhat familiar code. - Obsidian - 02-06-2006 i learned what i know of vb because of mirage. i started to pick up C++, and it's not overly difficult, but i was trying to learn with Irrlicht, and because the dll that it uses, it pretty much has it's own syntax... which really won't help me much in the long run. I think i'll just wait around for you to finish ms c++ ![]() - grimsk8ter11 - 02-06-2006 the site will be up soon so all the altest news on MSE++ and MSEJ will be there. P.S. Thansk to Vans for the site ![]() - L&M - 02-06-2006 believe it or not im building my program from scartch because im not that experience with vb enuogh to port all the commands to C++ - grimsk8ter11 - 02-06-2006 they are basically the same, soem jsut dont exist in C++ - L&M - 02-06-2006 so not all the vb features will be in this version |
